Every June, we donate 50% of all tinsel (fairy hair) profits to The Trevor Project, the leading organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth.

🎓 Big Congrats to Our Grads – Lila & Alex!
We’re so proud to celebrate two of our own this month, Lila and Alex have officially graduated high school and are diving headfirst into the beauty world! 💇♀️💅
Alex
Alex will be joining our in-salon apprenticeship program, learning and growing alongside our amazing stylists in order to get her cosmetology license!
Lila
Lila is headed to beauty school, but she’s not leaving us just yet, you’ll still see her at the salon, now working as a salon assistant while she continues her education!
Make sure to congratulate them when you’re in next! These two are going places, and we’re so lucky to be part of their journey! 🎉✨
The Ron & Kate Segreti Scholarship
The Ron & Kate Segreti Scholarship is a special part of who we are at Salon Vinlie. Named after our owner’s parent, whose middle names inspired the name Vinlie, this annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating student pursuing a future in the beauty industry.
To help fund the scholarship, we take a portion of proceeds from all hot tool sales throughout the year. So every time you invest in that new curling iron or flat iron, you’re also investing in the next generation of stylists.

This month’s martini is the Fruity Pebbles, sweet, colorful, and a little nostalgic. Basically, it tastes like your favorite childhood cereal… if it had a nightlife phase.
(Yes, it’s still socially acceptable to day-drink if it’s rainbow-colored. We checked.)
Vinlie Spotlight - Lila
This month’s spotlight goes to someone we all know is a hard worker, but Lila has taken it to another level entirely. She’s the kind of team member who notices the things most people wouldn’t even think to do. From dusting corners no one sees to restocking before anyone realizes we’re low, Lila is constantly five steps ahead.
Getting a haircut? Don’t blink, Lila’s already there with the broom, sweeping up before the hair even hits the floor. Hair on the floor hates to see her coming.
But beyond being a quiet force of efficiency, Lila is also one of the kindest humans you’ll meet. She cares deeply for the people around her, always rooting for others to succeed, and shows up with her whole heart every single day.
Lila will soon be starting her journey into the hair industry (woo!), so keep an eye out for her around the salon and make sure to give her a huge congrats when you see her. We can’t wait to watch her shine.
